Fees, Coverage and Cancellation Policy
Starting therapy is a meaningful step, but sometimes the practical details can feel overwhelming. On this page, you'll find details about our fees, insurance possibilities, and how we manage appointment changes. Navigating the logistics shouldn't be a barrier to your well-being, and our hope is that with this clarity, you can focus on your path forward with peace of mind.
Session Fee and Payment Options
Below you'll find our session fees for each therapist. Please note that each appointment lasts 50 minutes and that an additional provincial tax of 13% is applied.
We accept payments via Debit, AMEX, Visa, or Mastercard. After every session, our system processes the payment, and you'll promptly receive an emailed receipt containing the essential information most insurance companies require.
Individual Counselling Session
Rosa Gheisari: $135 + HST
Jenine Shaw: $135 +HST
Couples Counselling Session
Rosa Gheisari: $155 + HST
Navigating Your Insurance Benefits
Sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or RP-Qualifying could be partially or fully covered by your extended health insurance or employee benefit plan. Before scheduling an appointment, it's recommended to consult with your insurance provider to understand the extent of your coverage.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Guidelines
We deeply value the time you choose to spend with us. Each appointment you book is a reserved space, ensuring you receive the dedicated care and attention you deserve. Missing an appointment, cancelling, or rescheduling at the last minute prevents another individual from receiving timely therapeutic support.
For this reason, if you need to make changes or cancel your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Without this notice, we do charge the full rate of the appointment to your credit card on file. This policy is in place not just to honour our therapists' time but also to honour the commitment and dedication of all our clients.
